Day Eight: Volunteer at an Environmental Org. or Event

Non-profit environmental organizations are always in need of volunteers and support to sustain their businesses. If there is a Green Organization in your area, or an Environmental Event that you attend every year, look into how you can volunteer at the next one.

Volunteering at these events not only helps these organizations meet their environmental goals, you learn a lot about the green economy, and can build your resume. The easiest way to find a volunteer position is to look up what opportunities are offered in your neighbourhood.
